Characterization of Layered Double Hydroxides by Near Infrared Spectroscopy (pp.241-254) $100.00
Authors:  (César Jiménez-Sanchidrián, José Rafael Ruiz, Departamento de Química Orgánica, Facultad de Ciencias, Universidad de Córdoba, Campus de Rabanales, Córdoba, Spain)
Abstract:
This paper reviews the results of recent studies on the characterization of layered double hydroxides (LDHs) by near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). The properties of LDHs containing various cations and interlayer anions are discussed. Basically, NIRS allows the nature of OH groups present in LDHs to be established and bands due to electronic transitions in LDHs containing metals with d orbitals to be identified.
